Books

Book 1: Cymatics – A Study of Wave Phenomena
Originally published by Dr. Hans Jenny in 1967 and 1974, Cymatics documents his groundbreaking experiments using audible sound frequencies to animate powders, pastes, and liquids into complex, organic patterns. This expanded edition includes Jenny’s original volumes, showcasing over 360 breathtaking images—none computer-generated—that resemble forms found in nature, art, and architecture. Additional commentary from modern scientists and artists explores the profound influence Jenny’s work continues to have across multiple disciplines.

Book 2: Sound Vision – Visualising Sound as Healing Art
Sound Vision is a practice-led thesis exploring the therapeutic potential of sound, light, colour, and motion, drawing from ancient Hindu and Buddhist traditions as well as contemporary neuroscience. The research culminates in a digital film prototype designed as a visual aid for meditation and healing. It asks: If we could see sound, what would it look like—and could it help us heal? This book is a bridge between spiritual practice, art, and science, offering insight into how frequency and form affect the human mind and body.

What these books mean to me:
These two works have been foundational in shaping my life as a cymatics artist. Cymatics by Hans Jenny first revealed the sacred order hidden in sound, and showed me how frequencies move through matter with purpose and grace. Sound Vision represents the heart of my own research and artistic practice—it’s where science, art, and healing converge. These books are not just informative—they are portals to understanding the deeper intelligence of the universe, and they continue to guide me every time I step into the studio.
